Privacy policy

Curtis Bitcoin Corporation (“we”) operates this educational website. We try to collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Email you send us. If you write to info@curtisbitcoin.ca, we keep the message so we can reply.
- Theme preference. Your light/dark choice is stored in your browser (
localStorage). It does not leave your device. - Hosting logs. GitHub Pages (and your DNS provider) may log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, as part of running a website.
Third-party services
CoinGecko
The homepage may request a Bitcoin price from the CoinGecko API in your browser. CoinGecko may process that request under its own privacy policy: coingecko.com/en/privacy.
X (Twitter) and other outbound links
Links to X, Shakepay, and other sites are ordinary links. Their policies apply when you leave this site.
GitHub Pages
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. See GitHub’s privacy statement for hosting-related processing.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not ask for seed phrases, private keys, or exchange passwords. Anyone who does is not us.
- This version of the site does not use Google AdSense or Google Analytics. If that changes, we will update this page.
Cookies
We do not set advertising cookies. Your browser may store our theme preference locally. You can clear site data in your browser settings.
Your choices
You may email us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold from your correspondence, subject to any legal retention needs. If you are in Canada, you may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada for information about your rights.
