Curtis Bitcoin Corporation exists to help people take one honest step into Bitcoin — then the next one — without being rushed, shamed, or sold a fantasy.
Mission
Most Bitcoin content is either a lecture or a lottery ticket. We try for a third thing: clear Canadian education you can act on this week.
- Help individuals get off zero with an amount they can afford to learn with.
- Help small businesses accept and manage bitcoin as a payment and, if they choose, a treasury slice.
- Explain tax and custody basics in language you can take to a professional — not as a replacement for one.
What we believe
Bitcoin is scarce digital property. Understanding it is more important than predicting next month’s price. Self-custody is a skill. Records are a skill. Both beat bravado.
We are Bitcoin-only in our teaching. That is a scope choice: one asset, taught well, is more useful than a zoo of tokens taught poorly.
What we are not
- Not a dealer, fund, or portfolio manager.
- Not a tax preparer or law firm.
- Not a signal group.
- Not “number go up” entertainment.

Get Off Zero
The phrase is a reminder: the first satoshi you actually own is the one that makes the rest of the education stick. Curtis Bitcoin Corporation is the long game — one step at a time, including the unglamorous ones (backups, CSVs, invoices).

This site is written for people using Canadian dollars, Canadian platforms, and Canadian tax rules. Other countries will differ. If you are outside Canada, use the principles and ignore the CRA-specific parts.
